Buck Teeth Correction

By Hilary Grey

For a long time, most people calls me a "Buck teeth" simply because of my two large front teeth which grew too forward. In the beginning, it really did not affect myself for a long time, however I only just hated the fact that many people would continuously talk about it and tease me like there is no tomorrow. In addition, I did not like the idea that I have to listen to most people mention it, and therefore basically it made me to grief over the time. Due to this kind of matter, I made a decision that it is most likely about time for me to seek advice from a local Coquitlam dentist.

When I actually went to the dentist, I was informed that my two large front teeth needs to be correction and it is not really a big problem after all.

Therefore after having a series of consultations to the dentist in Vancouver, I was initially encouraged to use dental braces for a long time. When I was fitted with those dental brackets, I was really expecting of getting a straight and a much aligned teeth. Moreover, with those dental braces on, I actually felt serious pain because it compresses my teeth completely.

After two years, those dental braces were removed and I feel so much better about myself now. Although I was advised by my dentist to constantly wear my dental retainers on, it is much easier now as I am able to remove them every now and then. The dental retainers were really a big help as it maintains the proper alignment of my teeth.

At this time, I am very delighted to finally look into the mirror and smile vibrantly without feeling any kind of discomfort or being too aware of my teeth. After going through the said dental treatment, I am now capable to communicate with the people and never have to worry if they are still looking at my buck teeth.
